In Free Play mode, switch to Blackbeard and use his ability to break the skull blocking a climbable wall on the right side of the boat. Use his gun to blow up the shiny chain around a large wooden object, then blow up the wooden object for a Minikit. After both have been destroyed, switch to Marty and head to the left side of the ship. Once you hit it, go grab another torch to light the other cannon, then repeat the process on the other grate. Grab a torch nearby and use it on either cannon, then aim for one of the small grates on the side of the other boat.
